Martin’s has over 20 years of investment industry experience including senior-level positions in both institutional equity research and portfolio management. This includes his current role as a Chief Investment Officer for select family and multi-family offices overseeing their private and public investment portfolios.

Prior to co-founding TriVest, Martin’s career was focused on institutional energy research and capital markets primarily at two top-ranked boutique investment banks where he provided investment recommendations on the Canadian energy sector to institutional fund managers located in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. He also has senior board level experience including corporate advisory.

Martin is regularly featured in the media and is a weekly columnist for the Financial Post. He is a member of Oilweek Magazine’s class of 2012 Rising Stars and was named to Canada’s top 40 influencers in finance, innovation and risk in December 2017 by Thomson Reuters Canada. Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in finance from the University of Alberta, studied international economics and finance at Örebro University in Sweden, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

Canadian UAVs is proud to announce that in summer of 2018 it was the first Company to fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight outside of restricted airspace in Canadian history. The project was in collaboration with several multinational oil and gas upstream companies to resolve the issue of flying drone longer distances safely for environmental integrity inspections. As a result of its ground-breaking operational requirements, Canadian UAVs has developed novel Airspace Management technology which it will present at the ConvergX® conference in 2019

With almost 25 years in the oilfield services industry, Keith Schilling is a leader with operational, sales, marketing and HR experience. Working in Canada, the US and overseas in Singapore, Thailand and Japan, Keith’s knowledge of the energy industry is comprehensive, as is his understanding of the challenges producers face and the solutions they’re seeking. He now leads the 1700 BHGE Canada employees who are providing solutions for customers across the country, from the reservoir to the refinery and from the sea to the cloud.

Keith has an MBA from Holland’s Rotterdam School of Management and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Gerald Auger of Woodland Cree descent from Bigstone Cree Nation, Alberta, Canada.

He graduated from Grande Prairie Regional College in 1995 in Business Administration Diploma specializing in Marketing Management, Small Business Management Certificate at Northern Lakes College. He was the President of the campus’ Student Association, President of the Student Society for Alberta Vocational College and the Circle of Aboriginal Students, and received the Charles S. Noble Student Leadership Award from the Department of Advanced Education and the Province of Alberta.

In 1996/1997 Auger was awarded the National Native Role Model by the Governor General of Canada and spent the next two years visiting more than 30 communities across Canada, inspiring his Indigenous peers, relating stories about his experiences and bonding with locals through cultural events and ceremonies. Auger is the first Indigenous recipient of the Rotary International Integrity Award for the Avenue of Nations in Alberta. Gerald was a Board Member of Mamowe Capital Regional Authority for Children and Family Services and served as the Chair for the Aboriginal Advisory Group to the Region 10 Authority.

Gerald has spent 20 years in Hollywood as an actor in a variety of films and television series.  As a writer, producer and directors Gerald’s first film, Walking Alone about Indigenous gangs, received industry acclaim and won awards for Best Film and Best Director. Gerald’s second film in 2008, National Film Board of Canada was also an award winning documentary Honour Thy Father about spirituality in Indigenous communities, Best Film Representing Cultural Diversity.

Dr. Asgarpour has over 30 years of diversified technical, business, and operations experience in the oil and gas industry marked by providing strong leadership as: President of Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC), President of Innovative Oil & Gas Inc. and business leader of Oil Sands Development for Alberta Department of Energy, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Canadian 88 Energy Corp., Director of Corporate Strategic Planning for Gulf Canada Resources Limited (“Gulf”), Director of Exploitation for Gulf, and Chief Engineer of Gulf.

Dr. Asgarpour graduated from Rice University with a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed the Executive Management Program at Western Business School, the University of Western Ontario, and the Leadership Program at Yale School of Management, Yale University.
